Vacancy at Meulaboh for Civil Society Strengthening Specialist

RTI International, a leading international consulting firm, is recruiting for a position as Civil Society Strengthening Specialist for the USAID-funded Local Governance Support Program (LGSP) in Aceh. The LGSP program provides customized capacity-building support to local governance stakeholders, including DPRD, in 40 districts and cities in 6 provinces.

The Civil Society Strengthening Specialist is responsible for designing and coordinating a regional capacity-building program to support local civil society organizations to engage in the planning and budgeting process and interact more effectively with local administrations and DPRDs in order to improve public services. Working with staff in other regions and the National Office, the Specialists will collaborate with service providers for capacity-building programs, design and evaluate training, and maintain good relations with the main stakeholders in the civil society strengthening field in the respective region.
